offer support to Philips and its partners/customers. A role as Engineer in the Forcare Customer Support team consists of a diversity of tasks and responsibilities. These tasks and responsibilities are varying with the Forcare implementations in hospitals, which makes the job challenging. You are responsible for
Handling support tickets, and taking phone calls.
Answering questions regarding installation, configuration and product functionality.
Providing support remotely from the office, occasionally onsite.
Collaborating, if needed with Development, to resolve complex technical issues and if possible to prevent these issues from happening again.
Updating the knowledge base.
Occasionally providing technical training.
Implementing technical change requests.
Managing environments (OS + software). Ex: upgrading Forcare software / 3rd party products / OS + security patches, running reports, executing proactive support + monitoring of critical systems, updating licenses.
You are a part of
a small personal company (+/-100FTE) within a larger organisation, offering a nice balance between the two. As a Senior Technical Support Engineer you are part of the support team within Order to Cash. The team is growing and focusing on the best quality customer experience, by means of answering to complex IT issues.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
At least 3 years of experience with supporting complex IT solutions
Providing support for software products within the healthcare market
Higher education (Bachelor)
Good verbal and writing skills in English and Dutch
Operating systems (Windows Server / Linux)
Database management and writing SQL queries
One or more script languages
Infrastructure and Network troubleshooting
Preferred: Proficient with Apache Tomcat (installation, configuration, maintenance)
Preferred: Knowledge of Healthcare communication standards (DICOM, HL7, IHE)
