Philips Production Manager in Zhuhai, China

Monitor and improve the overall operation of Assembly Production Lines to achieve the KPI’s on safety, quality , delivery, cost, efficiency and flexibility.

Budgeting AOP for department timely and effectively to ensure the cost of both daily operation and capex investment is reserved and controlled properly.

Ensure that relevant regulations, internal standards and corporate policies are complied with periodically identify environment aspects and health & safety hazards and take corrective action and encouraging workers to report pollution environments, injuries and illnesses, provide appropriate EHS training to all employees to guarantee the EHS in line with regulation requirement .

Organize relevant people actively participating in new project introduction to make sure the new project realized properly.

Make policy deployment and implementation internally to ensure the company policies/objectives properly be broken down to and realized on all the relevant levels.

Lean production system initiate and roll out to support business improvement.

Be responsible for shop-floor management by applying relevant tools and/or benchmarking with best practices to strive for manufacturing excellence .

Organize, initiate and participate in improvement of production on safety, quality, efficiency, delivery and cost etc. to maintain continuous improvement momentum

Organize and arrange training/coach/development on relevant staff and operators to ensure qualified workers and staff are available and fitting to requirements and grow their competence.

Develop and maintain a good moral on shop-floor with proper performance appraisal and other means of existing recognition and rewarding schemes to build up a happy and valuable workforce .

You are a part of

  • Professional manufacturing operations team in Zhuhai, reporting to Sr. Operations Manager.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Education: Bachelor degree or above, major in Environment Engineering related

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in production/operational management in sizable MNC, experience in small domestic appliance or Consumer Electronics is preferred.

  • Competency and Skills:

  • Be familiar with ISO 9001

  • Be familiar with lean excellence

  • Strong leadership skill

  • Good communication and influencing skill.

  • Good English & Chinese Language skills both oral and written
